The school board has voted to make the wearing of masks optional for everyone on our school campuses and buses with the stipulation that if the positive rate at any school reaches 3.5%, that school will revert back to a mask mandate for 10 days. After 10 days, if the positive rate is below 3.5% the mask will be optional.

The Health Sciences program provides the core skills which can be used in a variety of health fields. This program enables students to experience learning in actual and simulated health service environments. The Health Sciences program includes introducing students to careers in broad areas of dentistry, medicine, nursing, and related health. Examples are: health care administrators, office workers, dental assistants, dietetics, laboratory technicians, optical therapy, surgical technician, nursing assistant, veterinary assistant, x-ray technology, and other health related personnel. The Health Science I class counts as one of the science electives as well as Health Credit required for graduation.
